Food waste can be a big problem on all sizes of Superyachts. EX range of digesters can now turn food waste & dead flowers into grey water. Running off a standard wall plug, the only integration needed is a hot water pipe (30-38 degrees c) feeding water to the device and a waste pipe connected from the device to the grey water tanks.
The microorganisms are the only by-product, needing to be cleaned and replaced out every 12-24 months.
The microorganisms inside have a semi-permanent lifespan, the machines need re-inoculating every 12-18 months. EX series Digesters come with a 3-year warranty. With the first device being installed in 2006, the machine is proven, reliable and well-tested technology.

EX10 - 10 Kg
The EX10 is the most compact version of the EX Series, the device is supplied with floor blocks, rather than the wheeled device shown in the picture. Food is added by opening the top hatch and throwing your organic waste into the microorganisms.
Based on the type of food waste, the microorganisms will break down the food waste and the only by-product is grey water which can be piped to the grey water tanks.
EX10 is small enough to install in a yacht galley, either freestanding or under counter with a cut out for the hatch.

The EX30 is the medium sized option. Working exactly the same as the EX10, the device is able to process up to 30k of food waste at one time. Again the device is supplied on blocks as shown in the picture.
